The advanced and regular public transport network here means you can get to Háje Line C metro station from your new home in just ten minuteses, or to Skalka Line A station in fifteen minutes. Train transport is also convenient and quick. You can get to Horní Měcholupy or Hostivař train stations in about ten minutes from here.
The post office is just a few metres from SMART LIVING BLV@Horní Měcholupy. Also nearby are a number of playgrounds. It is a pleasant maximum ten-minute walk to nursery and elementary schools and the adjacent sports ground. There are convenience stores and restaurants within five minutes. And if you want to do a big shop, there’s nothing simpler than setting out for the nearby shopping zone in Štěrboholy.
There are a number of other places worthy of note nearby, in particular Hostivař forest park, the Hostivař reservoir and the Botič river meanders, which have been declared a protected natural site. To the north is a modern nine-hole golf course which offers training for children and beginners, or those more advanced. The A44 cycle path also goes through Horní Měcholupy (from Petrovice to Letňany). You can get to the centre of Prague by car along Průmyslová and Černokostelecká. The Jižní spojka road means you can get quickly to the west of Prague, and also the east and north, if you are heading towards Mladá Boleslav and Hradec Králové, or towards Liberec. The motorway to Brno is five minutes away by car in the direction of Jižní Město.
